Selection of precision filters:

Precision filters are often installed after pressure filters to remove small particles from liquids, in order to meet the requirements for incoming water in subsequent processes. Sometimes it is also installed at the end of the entire water treatment system to prevent small particles from entering the finished water.

The commonly used filter cartridges include PP melt blown filter cartridges and polypropylene filter cartridges.

The precision of the filter element is measured in micrometers (μ m), and there are several specifications: 0.1, 0.22, 0.45, 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 75, and 100, which can be selected according to different requirements.

Precision filtration is often used as a security filter for devices such as electrodialysis, ion exchange, reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, etc.

Usually used for about 3-6 months or replaced when the pressure difference between inlet and outlet (P2-P3) is greater than 0.15Mpa or significantly decreases, in order to ensure the pre-treatment effect and prevent the reverse osmosis membrane from being damaged by particles and suspended solids.

Precision filter application:

Nanofiltration (NF), ultrafiltration (UF), reverse osmosis (RO), electrodialysis (EDI) and other system security filtration and terminal filtration;

Filtering of medical injections, intravenous fluids, eye drops, and herbal medicines, as well as extraction, purification, and concentration of biological agents;

Pre filtration and terminal filtration of high-purity water for electronics, microelectronics, and semiconductor industries;

Filtration of oilfield reinjection water, boiler feed water, chemical reagents, liquid organic products, high-purity chemicals, concentrated drugs, etc;

Filtration of drinking purified water, mineral water, fruit juice, tea drinks, and health drinks;

Filtration of Baijiu, wine, beer, rice wine and other fruit wines, sterilization and filtration of pure draft beer (instead of pasteurization);

Pre treatment filtration or security filtration in the process of production, domestic wastewater treatment, and reclaimed water recycling and reuse;
